A peculiar 'X' shaped object which NASA dubbed P/2010 A2 was discovered a few months ago.
No, it was discovered ten years ago, and you are only now finding out about it.

 Darn those pesky facts!

Ok. But somehow the trail of debris maintains an X shape.
Why should it change its pattern?  There is no air in space to slow down the less massive particles.  If anything, they will all continue to disperse from the center of impact and eventually form no apparent pattern at all.
Exactly..they should disperse apart and loose the pattern. But they dont and it doesn't.
And you can tell this from the only photograph you have ever seen?  It has changed in the last 10 years.  Here is the original, and three subsequent images below it.  Note the dates.

Also typical comets shed vapor and dust from the planetesimal itself. There is every reason it should form a halo around the main little body and form a trail away from the Sun leading out from that halo. But it doesnt.
Comets from beyond the "Frost Line" behave as you say, but this one seem to have a smaller orbit -- most of its volatiles have already sublimated.

Exactly. You were wrong. And it not only should, but HAS changed shape over time.

Now that you have admitted defeat we all can move on.

No defeat was admitted.  The single image did not change -- the ONE image from ten years ago that everyone was so excited over. Subsequent NASA images (also from ten years ago) show that the dispersal of debris I had mentioned earlier did occur.

Do you post as a form of combat?  Is WP your personal battleground?
