Constructive old computer use?
I have several old computers. I went out and bought two copies of Battle Chess for Macintosh (the really old version) and now have two old Macintosh Classic computers networked to play them.
I have an old 486 IBM on my desk next to my brand new laptop. I still like WordPerfect 5.1 and use that and Excel 97 for my psychoanalysis stuff.
I've also got this Mac Quadra 700 that I don't know what I'm going to do with yet, but I like the machine. The same goes for this old Mac SE I got a few weeks ago. I got a copy of ClarisWorks 2.0 which I may use on the SE and make it into another productivity machine.
I own an old Mac Plus that I still use now and then for draw programs.
Last but not least, my tangerine iBook is getting old. I use it for Photoshop (OS 9 version) but that's about it these days.
There is also an old half-dead Toshiba T1200 laptop at my place. Hasn't worked in four years. I may fix it up someday. I also have a dead PowerBook 170 from 1992 and my old Mac LC from when I was little They are in storage.

I have a 300Mhz and 466Mhz Machine that are both Celerons and have 256MB Memory[PC133 SDRam]I also have a 475Mhz K6-2 w/ 512MB Memory I used to have a 486 and a 200Mhz Pentium lying around but due to the fact the Power Supplies where going wacko I threw them out.[The Power Supplies were 40 Watt and where Packard Bell.] I mainly use these old machines for Office 2000, Internet Use, Youtube Browsing/ Video Uploading, Music Libraries, ect, I also test Linux Distros on these and when i`m not i`m using Windows 98SE or 2000 Pro.
[I actually like using my old computers for music due to High Stability and i can use Media Player 9 without Microsoft Gripping at me to upgrade to 11.]I also haven`t got the Blue Screen yet on 98SE and its FAST!! !!, Especially after creating a bunch of VBScripts and using TweakUI to make my menu`s pop up automatically. [ Similar to the Speeds you get when using a Core 2 Duo w/ 4GB DDR2 Ram Running Windows XP.]
