Yes, we're all sure about multi-threading.

You don't need a dual core to take advantage. For example; if one tab has a long javascript agent operating or locked, it won't affect the other tabs.

As far as compatibility goes. It a very early beta (I'd personally say it looks more like an alpha app). It doesn't support much yet - but it will.

If they would have said that it was an alpha release, then I think that it would not have been downloaded so many times as it probably has.

Betas are more attractive to the general public.

I try to do a Lotus Domino post every now and then but I seem to be getting sidetracked into Google and Blackberry these days.

Anyway, today's blog article contains a bit about the strategy for Chrome (as I see it).

Why Microsoft and IBM have plenty to fear from Google Chrome but Mozilla does not.

Google Chrome works fine with Youtube for me. If it's just the flash videos, you probably need to upgrade flash. As for Hotmail, Chrome runs it fine, Hotmail just suggests 'upgrading' your browser, which you can ignore by clicking the ignore link below the message.

my computer blue screened during the download, I'll have to retry, which sucks seeing as how I'm a long way from a router and wireless is what Ive got

Firefox does that too with Speeddial. It's hardly a new feature.

Ya read the eula to see if you want to run it, its all pretty looking, but FF has everything I need, including Ad Blocker. Maybe once they get plug ins then maybe I will use it.

I just read that Google have admitted messing up the eula and are going to change it. I've also no intention of switching from Firefox. It does everything I want with AdBlocker plus and Noscript.
