No, it was directed at AS4L, who has posted derisive comments about "fanboys" of various open-source projects several times. I wouldn't call her a "troll," though. Just someone who's annoyed with fanboyism.


ah, okay, that makes sense. The personal pronoun threw me, and I did look at AS4L's bio previously (because that was the only post I did see that had an inflammatory tone to it) and that indicated "male", which further confused things. Thanks for the clarification :)

no, there is nowhere safe from fanboys...or the Chinese army...;)

Word Perfect...I remember that. Word will translate Word Perfect just fine (or did back in the 90s, when last I used it)

So unless this is post-Novell (isn't that where WP went?), and has a proprietary format, Word should work fine.

btw- just ran into my first .docx document; about a minute online, and I had a free converter...
