I just saw these videos and i liked the intuitiveness of the editor. I have earlier worked with Imagine (Amiga), Real 3D (Amiga) and a bit with 3DS max, but this is much better.
Just wish there was a free NIF exporter to it so one could make stuff for Bethesdas games.

I remember Imagine. It was ported to dos. I got into povray after that.

oh..that one...
Actually, I've been modeling for years; obj is a fairly good format to use...
There's a free modeler out there called Blender; which can convert about 15 formats into 15 other formats. POVRay I just never got into; it looked too much like 'C' to me.. Blender also has a discombobulator (makes greebles and nurnies), but aside from that, it's jack of all trades, master of none.
Math types might want to look for a program called Topmod, which creates topological object, and does some very interesting mathematical things...
I use something called Wings 3d, also free. Also does conversions.
Is this the Google modeling program? I seem to remember it does modeling, but in a proprietary format, unless you want to shell out some smackers...
