I saw a flying saucer once. It was a few years ago now and I'll never forget it - it narrowly missed my head! 8O The lesson I learned was never to annoy my wife again while she's washing the dishes.

The same thing happened to me when I was playing Frisbee.

The evidence is so weak you would be rejecting it yourself if you weren't so desperate for this to be so real.

It depends on the definition you're holding for the word "evidence".

Witnesses may be considered evidence, albeit extremely weak.

Eye witness testimony is generally unreliable.

The best evidence is material evidence. A sing artifact that is provably not of any human origin would go a long way to carry the hypothesis that extraterrestrials have been mucking about on our turf. So far, not a single such artifact (properly vetted and examined of course) has been produced by anyone. It is alway hearsay the is bruited about, never anything substantial.

The following describes the removal of a biological human implant by Dr Roger Lier.

Record of initial surgery:

Implant removed at 4:40 on.

Record of implant analysis from metallurgic testing at Los Alamos National Laboratory revealing this foreign metallic object to be of extraterrestrial origin.

It's still extremely weak evidence. Just because he claims he's a doctor, or you posted a YouTube video of that doctor, doesn't mean your claims have now been backed up.

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. I would not accept that conclusion unless it were backup by a dozen independent scientific specialists. Was it corroborated by other scientists. If so, who where, and when. Provide a reference to a properly refereed scientific journal.

You are of course aware that this to-ing and fro-ing goes on forever.
A UFO on the White House lawn could be disbelieved by your same evidential demand.

What if they only had access to the information under security clearance? They couldn't discuss it. Then you would never get the scientific witness information, even if it existed.

Then you have no sure idea whether the claim is true or just another example of government bogousity.

All kosher claims have to be made is a properly competent context and completely open to public scrutiny. Anything less is just gas and hot air.

Here is a record of the UFO Disclosure Project headed by Dr Steven Greer in 2007.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7vyVe-6YdUk

A large number of ex high ranking officials including air traffic controllers, ex secret op. officers, commercial pilots, numerous military defense specialists with top secret clearance, people who had access to very sensitive documents
lieutenants, ex commanders in the u.s airforce,
astronauts,etc... all going before the national press club to discuss what their experiences have been regarding u.f.o's and all are willing to go before congress to testify under oath.

Or are you are asking for an official endorsement from your government before you can believe this issue?
