hey mikho7, sorry to say, thats not linux, if you look closely on left bottom on the taskbar, that appears to be windows vista, man that machine has a loaded desktop, i think running desktop wizard is in order that would organize it and be easier to see

I prefer my desktop to be as uncluttered as possible... and I use a second toolbar along the left side of the screen that is hidden when not in use.

i like how u knew it was from 2003. how did u do it? i dont see any year on the screen. unless u know a little too much about GNU or firefox, what they had out when, etc. or maybe u added it up from the date? the year Feb 4 was a Tues? how would you randomly decide to do that?
or maybe the image has a tag of the date in the file i am unaware of.

I was pretty curious about how old that picture was so I looking at it really carefully to find any clues. The only one I found was from the 'about' window with the GNOME info on it (ver 2.2). I also noticed that you took this picture at 3:30 AM. Nice :D

I just looked it up on wikipedia. I'm not an uber geek to remember when things are released lol

Note, my screen resolution is set to 1024x768, but I shrink the screencap image to something more manageable.
