Edit- I should have mentioned earlier, the desktop is active. The day/night terminus moves in real time, and the cloud patterns are real, with about a two hour delay.

Very cool ones there Raph522, RedMage, & chadders.

My desktop is currently quite boring - It's a female (Avril Lavigne).

This is my desktop as of today:
Image

It is Windows XP Pro with StyleXP for the OS-X theme
(best $20 I've ever spent), Aqua Dock, a
lovely free dock for Windows, and WinAmp with the
iPlay skin. I have two CRT monitors:
1280x1024 and 1600x1200. hence the huge screenshot.

I LOVE this setup. I love the functionality of Windows XP but it has to be the ugliest modern OS and I
love the beauty of OSX but not the overpriced hardware and the way Apple thinks it knows what you want
to do better than you do. I see absolutely no reason to upgrade to Vista.

I used to do that too but NOTHING beats the real thing. I think you get your money's worth with Apple hardware. They add a lot of stuff that you don't get with other computers. OSX is a nice perk of Apple hardware too. OSX has much of what makes Linux and BSD better than Windows, and Apple takes care of all the hard parts of configuring it.

It's what the guy who did my computer put on it, and I've never had any problems so, *shrug* If it ain't broke don't fix it.

That's what I used to use, doesn't really do a good job of catching viruses until it's too late.
