Sorry, I did not see your inquiry, previously. Yes, it is Zaha Hadid.
I think your wall paper would win, if this were a competition, btw. It is phenominal!

Please, share a wallpaper, not a screenshot of your desktop.

That makes me so happy and sad at the same time.

So many books, manuscripts and other documents so easily and near-instantly accessible. Nothing misplaced, everything right where it should be and cataloged. :)

But no browsing. No smell of leather, pasteboard and old paper. No running of fingers over the spines wondering who read them first decades (or more) ago. :(

^ Yes, that was the same reaction I had when I went to see the library. I went to view the Architecture and I actually did not know that the bookBot existed. I had walked into the library, prior to viewing the bookBot, and there were bookshelves full of books, lining some of the walls, so it wasn't too disheartening. But I will admit, I was so taken by the view of the bookBot. I am easily fascinated by such things.

I know the feeling. We have a tiny version of it at work in our server room to manage backup tapes. Somehow over the years I became its custodian when things go wrong, so I've spent hours watching the 'picker' move through its pattern of finding 1 tape out of 50 and transporting it to & from one of the tape drives or mail slots.

Hi richie, I thought I would let you know, your photos within the last 2 posts you've made in this thread, don't show up (from my vantage point, at least). I'm not sure if others have experienced the same, while viewing your posts. I am going to use a different browser to view them, momentarily. Perhaps that is the problem (on my end : )

edit: I am having the same experience while viewing your posts/photos from a different browser. Anyway, I'd be interested in viewing your wallpaper...!
