No. I wear Bose headphones and audiophiles hate Bose for some reason. I get that they're not audiophile but I'm not an audiophile. They're consumer quality but I'm a consumer :P

I also have a pair of Hose noise suppressing headphones, they do their noise-blocking job alright, but I don't really care for their sound quality. I use them when I have to ride in noisy vehicles, it transforms the experience into one less unpleasant. the reason many audiophiles despise Hose is 1] they criminally overprice their quite cheaply made products, 2] they market in an unfair way, refusing to directly compete with other audio producers, 3] they appropriate public domain inventions, make tiny tweaks to them, then nuisance-sue anybody else who uses the old public domain intellectual goods, whether or not there was any violation of Hose' tweaks.

It worked! :ninja: 8) Might go back to those people for some Focal speakers if I can afford 'em, or I'll be putting in the Dynaudio drivers for my car if (fingers crossed) they'll wire up.

The trouble is most of the time when I listen to music I'm either in a noisy vehicle or near noisy vehicles.

How did patent law get so broken? I thought when you patent an improvement to an existing invention you have to make it clear you're only patenting the improvement.

Maybe next time I'll get B&O noise cancelling headphones.

their legal eagles sue people who dare to continue to market their own products using existing public domain intellectual goods, hoping to intimidate less-deep-pocketed competitors to go out of business. it is dirty business, and dirty politics that allow it to continue. in my experience, Hose consumer headphones don't have appreciably better noise reduction performance than the competitors I've tried and own.
