It wouldn't be surprising if we find ourselves having less carpal tunnel syndrome and eyes that can stare at screens longer. There's clearly an epigenetic layer which is more than random chance, it's more like an accumulation of settings and switches as well as adaptive wiring that passes from generation to generation. Obviously not perfect as novelty can arise within one's lifetime but considering deep geological time we're at an absolutely insane rate of change right now - it's the extreme case of extreme cases.

The first thing, these humans need a skin resistant to space radiations, so we may need to add.....some cockroach genes?
Tardigrade?

Though I think converting us to machines might solve the problem...but it seems like "my" consciousness in the machine would be a copy--which leaves the original "me" still there in the vulnerable, aging biological form (unless it is a destructive copy!).

We should swap DNA with Tardigrades, like in the movie "the Fly", and send human sized Tardigrade people into space as astronauts. :D

But they should be careful while doing that DNA exchange part....
