Probably Google if that's the default for FireFox (my preferred browser no matter what OS I'm in) but I think Ubuntu decided to make FireFox go to their own page by default. Doesn't matter since I'm never on the homepage for more than a moment. Even if I want to search... FF has the Google search bar right in the menu, so why would I bother navigating to google.com? But I typically have quite a few tabs that are restored from my past session- in OSX I have so many tabs saved up in FF that I've been starting to use Safari. I think the homepage there is apple.com or some such. Again, Google search bar in the menu, so I don't stay long.

I definitely prefer FF over Seamonkey, by a lot. Safari isn't terrible. Dillo lacks functionality. Opera is pretty nice, but I slightly prefer FF and I feel dirty if I install a proprietary browser in Linux. I can't speak about IE because the only site I ever visited with it was mozilla.com to download Firefox.

I do prefer a blank page on start up. With FF installed, I'm not stupid enough to install google browser helper object where it gives me what I already have - to search with google and others.

Session manager? What's wrong with "Open tabs from last time" ?
