You must not have a heck of a lot of space left!

Each of the native operating systems has 50GB, and XP has a 16-gig virtual hard drive. There's plenty of room for now. I might throw on some other guest OS's, like a few other Linux distros. Easier to distro test in a virtualbox than by reformatting my HD every time.

So far, just Vector Linux, a derivative of Slackware. It's really nice, but it doesn't play nice with VB. The Vector Linux folks aren't so zealous about "free software" in the Richard Stallman sense, so they package their OS with the stuff you need for it to be functional- including Flash and some other "restricted" things that are a hassle in Ubuntu. The install takes about 15 minutes from start to a functional system. It's also really light and fast, but without sacrificing the polish. Its default actually is much better looking than Ubuntu. You can run it on crap hardware- the Light Edition can go on 64MB of RAM. Unfortunately, because of VB issues the only way I'll get to use it is to make a full install. I also have an OpenSUSE install CD that I may show to VB. Fedora maybe at some point, perhaps a little dabbling with Arch if I'm in a masochistic mood.

From what I know, Orwell, you are not supposed to have any operating system other than OS X and Windows on Macs. They don't support Linux on their platform. I guess if you don't have any tech issues that you bring it to The Apple Store's Genius Bar, because if they found out you had Linux on there, they'd be pissed and take you to Apple Jail. :P

Apple won't really give a hoot if the Linux is in a Virtual Box.

But Linux is running natively, and I haven't booted up in OSX in a couple weeks.

I don't care what Apple does or doesn't support, it runs and it runs well. I wouldn't bring technical issues to the Apple Genius Bar. Waaay overpriced when I can get better help for free on the online fora.

I think it's been a bit longer than that... I started running Ubuntu sometime in June I think. Maybe July.

Um, I am sorry - the Genius Bar has free tech support, and they do fix problems for free within reason if you have your warranty still intact.

Interesting. Still, I've heard some negative things about Genius Bar support, and I don't know if my warranty is still in effect- I have, after all, wiped my hard drive a couple times, installed unsupported operating systems, and opened up the computer to replace the RAM. Plus, my computer's almost a year old and the warranty is probably coming close to ending anyways.

Your like me, You don't need tech support.
