How do you personalize your computers?

I for example have H.P Fan-Made videos to run
and line inputted or CD inputed audio for themes
based on my moods, and I find this good.

When I just have a basic OS 9.1 installed for
online purposes the computer is as empty
as my I-Physical world. I will video, text,
audio and go online simulateusly.

For the record it is a Wallstreet 266/384/10g/CD/
Zip model.

When I use my spare Wallstreet 266/192/4g/CD
I use OS X.2.8 to run the screen saver slide
show for my favorite Goldenage comics covers.

What about you folk? I bet you are very creative
in personalizing your computers.

Mine has dog saliva on it. The dogs lick it occasionally - it's a laptop and so are they!

I have very limited computer skills and only change the desktop colour/patterns.

I like that statement. It is
very funny and truthful. How
big is this dog that licks laptops?

If you are running OS X.2+ there
is a setting that allows a slide show
and all you do is put your pictures
in the drag'n'drop point and it will
be a colorful screen saver.

I am still learning about OS X
and this is one of the cool features
I have found.

oh I mostly use the computer in bed, I'm one of those people who live in bed, eat there, read there etc. I have two whippets which are a like a smaller greyhound, the girl is a year old so she's fully grown, about 18 inches high, and the boy is 3 months so he's only little. So we're all in bed and that's how they get to lick the computer, although I discourage it. Bleh!

I don't have a web cam or digi camera (gotta get one of those!), so here's a link to some whippet pix (not my dogs) in case people don't know the breed.

I saw the dog pictures and they are
really cool looking, thanks for that
pictorial display.

I usually use an anime or video game related desktop, or I use a picture that I drew. And I use sound effects from Rurouni Kenshin. When I start up the computer, it plays the song Heart of Sword by TM Revolution. I also have some anime and video game icons.

Here's a screenshot of my desktop: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/15997683/
The background is from the game Katamari Damacy.

What stood out the most was
the cows and the green landscape.

I know very little about computers so I stick to the superficial stuff. The desktop usually has some kind of "nature" background:

The picture is a large sweet chestnut tree in Greenwich Park. The tree is probably around 300 years old, though is possibly older. Greenwich Park is my favourite park. http://www.royalparks.gov.uk/parks/greenwich_park/

I use WindowBlinds and all the other software in Object Desktop. It is really useful.

I like to change color schemes and graphics. I also try to remove logo stickers from the machine to make it look more streamlined.
