I was wondering if Tablet PC's will work with Ubuntu and what precautions will I have to take. A friend was looking for a Tablet PC but didn't want Vista. So I'm trying to find him a cheap one that will work with Ubuntu. (Apparentely he ran Red Hat back in the day so he doesn't mind linux.) Any suggestions with Tablet PC's, Also would it be easier just to get XP or go for Ubuntu.

Issues are discussed in this topic. I suggest starting with later replies.. dont use the ubuntu 8.0 stuff if you can avoid it.

I've always wanted one too. Let me know how it turns out!
