anyone know why i might not be able to send outgoing messages on the social networking site while using a proxy? myspace is blocked by parental controls on my computer so i'm forced to use one.

but it's only letting me read my messages, not respond to them.

it grants me access to the site, but it's one-sided. is that just how they are?

You're 19. Why do you have parental controls? Why not disable them and use a proper firewall?

from experiance, some proxies work better than others. how many have you tried?

also try clearing your cookies/history folder, and restarting your comp.

Can you install and run Tor?

Not being able to post may be a cookie or referrer issue because some proxies will remove them.

That doesn't mean myspace blocked Tor too.

btw, just another thought, what happens when you use the ip of myspace directly w/o proxy. Also try https:// instead of plain http://
