making a movie from GIF files

I have a whole bunch of archived GIF files (over ten thousand, like three gigabytes worth) that it would be neat to see as an animation. Do you know what kind of software one can use to create a viewable movie from a whole crap load of GIF files?

nice, I'd love to see a 3gb gif

virtualdub (windows) can take a folder of images and make a video out of it.
