I have cam across a copy of Mandrivia and wonder if anybody has ever used it and like it. I also wonder what will be the minimum requirements to run it reasonably.

Better yet is VectorLinux a good idea to test out because I'm downloading that too.

I liked VectorLinux. Fast, light, pretty full-featured and a good polished interface by default. It will run on just about anything that's even remotely modern- 256MiB of RAM or more is plenty for VL to be nice and snappy. Never touched Mandriva, though.
