Dell Zoom feature

I have a Dell laptop with Windows Vista. I am getting very frustrated that when I use the mouse pad (I think that's what you call it to move your cursor) it often changes the zoom. It is so annoying. I just want my mouse pad to control where my cursor goes---no zoom, no nothing else. Is there anyway to turn the zoom thing off from my mouse pad, but yet still have it allow me to move my cursor?

open Control Panel, Hardware, Mouse
there should be something called "scroll and zoom" or "pinch"
