blue tooth phones

Ive got a blue tooth phone and I keep getting messages from people I dont know, I find this upsetting and want to stop it.

Can anyone tell me how I can turn this feature off?

It is a waste of batteries too. It is useful when you want to transfer data.

Do you have some thin like 'settings' then 'connectivity'?

Tell me the model of the phone.

I found the settings and connectivity and turned it off, yay!! !
