There's actually a new one made by Cadillac, runs on a Thorium reactor.

Granted, there's only one in existence and they probably made it because they were bored and because they can, so it's probably going to run several million dollars.

Lately I have been playing Fallout 3. its full of trashed nuclear cars and some look a lot like that ford. Thanks.

I wouldnt put it past the future at this point. I heard some weeks ago that there is a theory in testing about a nuclear battery (heh, would be funny considering the lifespan of most isotopes is in the thousands of years).

A nuclear powered car is totally infeasible. The power plant would be very heavy and fissile material is dangerous to life and health. The closest thing we will have to an atom powered car is an electric powered car where the electricity is generated at a fission powered facility.
