I have been using Inkscape for a few months now and I am slowly getting the hang of it. I downloaded version 0.47 yesterday and have just learned how to use the spiro spline. I totally love it!! :D I like this even more than the adding a brush to a swirl effect in Illustrator as Inkscape allows me to edit the swirl and get it to look just how I want it to. Wow.

I'm considering using this to draw diagrams I can import into LaTeX - primarily so I can place drawings into my Graph Theory assignments. No idea about its other functions, though.

I use Inkscape all the time. It's great for drawing maps, and I do that a lot.
