Problem- Ubuntu/ Firefox posting YouTube on WP

I am have tried using the same method as my Mac and Safari. All I get is the HTML script printed out. My Profile shows that HTML encoding is on, but the window where I post shows that HTML is off. When I try to click the "OFF" to change it, nothing happens. The pointer does not change to a "hand" or anything.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Did you check your control panel? I'm noticing the same thing just now...

Let's see if that works.

Yes, works fine for me, and HTML is still off. I have been having Java/installation issues, but that's probably not related.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that I am a noob with Linux. The control panel is part of Linux, correct? (not WP?)

WP causes problems with youtube. Some aspect of what it does when pages are served break youtube for me. It works fine, as long as WP isnt open in a tab or a browser of its own.
