The unfortunate spacebar incident....!HELP!

Due to eating my favourite biscuit by my laptop, some crumbs went under the spacebar. I took off the space
bar by prying it off (Recommended) and now the lower half will not click on.... I really need advice quickly !

Assume you're speaking to aspies. Keyboards come in many forms with varying mechanical pieces holding it all together. A picture is worth... well, certainly enough words to get this sorted out. Picture: Keyboard surface, underside of dislodged space bar.
