So I'm in the market for a new phone at the moment. After June 1st I'll be able to save $150 on something. I'm on Sprint and I have my eye on two particular models. Either going for an HTC Hero or a Blackberry Curve. The Hero is one of those new Android phones and I heard mostly good things about it, with the only downside being occasional lag. After the savings the Hero will be around $280, and the Curve will be about$50-$60 less. The Curve is cool too and a couple of my friends have them, but it's not as high end.

I'm wondering, should I cave and go for the high-end thing with the touchscreen or the cheaper Blackberry? Has anyone here had experiences with either phone?

I don't have experiences with those phones but I hear good things about HTC. I must admit HTC is more widely known/used than Blackberry in the Netherlands so that might skew the opinions over here a bit...
