Well it just started yesterday. I've had my account since 2008, anyway this just started happening.

I can't seem to post pics anymore. I'll give you an example, here's a pic of my son, Bill.

Image

See what happened?

Is there another way to get rid of this problem without upgrading to Pro that will cost $$$$ or perhaps a way I could expand my photo album elsewhere without exceeding (hogging) space of a forum who doesn't give a damn about my most precious memories?

Help????

I may not live long enough to be around and show these to my grandchildren or great grandchildren who will do more posting than visiting on the internetz.

Create Gmail Account

Upload Photos

Set Privacy status to various Albums / Photos as you wish

Google might be around a while, and they have pretty good bandwidth available too.

Yes, very simple stuff.
If you need a hand give me a hollar.

EDIT: That sounds arrogant of me - sorry :?

What I mean is that I use Gmail very frequently and am accustomed to it for sending/sharing pics

Oddly the pic link is correct, must be a server issue.

No, I don't see what happened. Was it supposed to be bigger? Normally when you exceed bandwidth, they just plain cut you off. You would have to delete some images to help with that. But if the image is just small, I think it's user error. Maybe. You might have thought the image was bigger that it actually was. I have five different versions of my avatar image on my machine, for example. It's easy to get confused and upload the wrong one.

Oh, wait, I see it. You son looks fuzzy. Again, you might've gotten the wrong image, or mislabeled something along the way.

Aw shucks, I used image shack but they're even worse than photo bucket as far as size and amount of availability go. /:

Well I was able to get like 9 photos in account.

I'm not sure what's wrong with the 10th one. I tried getting size as small as possible but it says something like

Up to 10MB per image.
Unlimited bandwidth.
Unlimited uploads.

I guess it can only hold a certain amount. :(

hm, that's wayy too odd, if you check the filesize, how huge/small are your pics? not dimensions, but in kB/MB

My last one that won't show up on imageshack says 43b. On photobucket, the very same one that hasn't been changed says 32 kb.

43b sounds like 43 bytes. Sounds like the pic didn't load at all.
I have a Photobucket account, only to load pictures up here. Average size is about 1-200k, and have probably 30 or so pictures on it.
Have you tried contacting them?

Thanks Pakled. They recommended me to upgrade to pro. Naturally I didn't want to at first until I saw all their options. So now I got my photobucket account back and with better features!!

Problem solved!

PS: What do ya think of my son?

Takes after his mommy.

How much is it to upgrade to Pro, I haven't been having any trouble with the free version

$25.00 a year, that's for a premium upgrade.

I have to say this version is much better. I don't have to keep worrying about size and how much room I take up.

I've also never had this problem for 2 years up until recently.
