My idiot question of the day: How do you get your age to show beside your avatar?

I notice my age does not display, I am sure it used to. I notice that other people have age displayed, but I never see birthday. The options in the Account control page are "Display birthdate", "Display day and month (but not year)" and "Display nothing".

Does one of these options actually display age in threads, and is mis-titled?

I can see your age. 46, right?

Or did you figure it out?

Yes, it is necessary to set the profile to "Display birthdate" (so that the full date is displayed) in order for the age to show up in the forum threads.
