Need a wireless router and wireless adapter

Does anybody have any good suggestions for them? My grandmother needs a new one and I'm looking around trying to find a much better one for her. She has a Westell Versalink 327W (which doesn't have good reviews) Any ideas would be very appreciated!

I suggest Linksys for the router, Belkin can get iffy. My Belkin crashes on contacting the Call of duty 4 Master Game server list

Then for the Modem get a regular wire Modem from your ISP if you need a New DSL Modem. Those 2 in 1 go bad faster. The regular wire modem just plugs into the router. Also depend on the DSL Modem you can do what is called "Bridged connection" and put your DSL Login into the Router and that logs you in.

go with a Trendnet TEW-632BRP for the router and for the adapter go with a (if it a desktop) Trendnet TEW-632PI (if it's a laptop go with TEW-621PC. They are what i am using and once i got the settings right they work grate. The only problem was the power cord burnt out within 24 hours on the router, but it may have bin a one time thing i just got a new cord at walmart (very surprising that the had it but Radio shack didn't).

Also sens they are very hard to find i will include the best settings for the router

under basic menu set the fallowing

Chanel - 10 (uncommon channel means less interferences)
Channel Width - Auto 20/40 (more bandwidth)

under the Security menu set the fallowing
Authentication Type WPA2 (newer)
PSK / EAP Set to PSK (don't remember what this dose but it made it a lot faster)
Cipher Type AES (same as the PSK / EAP setings)

those are all the settings i had to modifie, when you do make shore you are connected to the router by an Ethernet cable as you will also have to change the some of the settings for the adapter (no where near as many you should be able to find them easily enuf).

I second markitzero' s opinion. Linksys seems to work smoothly enough so as not to require any assistance for extended periods of time. I have Linksys and Belkin routers and the former has never stopped working for at least 5 years while the latter needs to be reset or else tinkered with at least twice a day.
Also, for the modem, again seconded, get whatever the ISP gives you.

ISP just gave a router, it is DSL so it goes through the phone line and connects to a router which lets other computer connect and allows WIFI.
