Forum Setup?

Hi Guys/Girls,

OK, so I'd like to setup a Forum, much like the one here - although not exactly the same.

The problem I have is, how on earth do I stop people from posting porn links and pictures to that forum?

Is there an automated method which I could use?

WP doesn't seem to have the porn issue, so what's going on here?

Get good moderators. Most forums have anti-spam systems built in, but they rarely work against humans.

Use software (phpBB is popular) or a site with the functions built in, such as: all posters must register, replying via an email address that is not a disposeable address to activate their account; no user can include a link until some set time or set number of posts (prevents most spambots); you track user / IP data to ban repeat offenders; you be consistent and unflinching in dealing with abuse, no matter what the excuse or sob story.
