I think we have a couple of star-watchers around here, so maybe you can help me.

As you may be aware, the Geminid meteor shower is supposed to be peaking in a couple of days. Unfortunately, it is predicted to be cloudy here all week after tonight. I don't want to miss it, but I don't want to go lie outside in the cold all night tonight just to see nothing/barely anything. Is it worth it trying to watch them a couple of days early?
