you can find the take screenshot program in the Ubuntu accessories menu or press the print screen sometimes it's called prnt scrn key on the keyboard if that dose not work Google is your friend.

These are of an Acer Aspire 5100 running Fedora 8 that I was using about 18 months ago unfortunately it burnt out a few months later.
