That's why we have an endless supply of Slurpees. They have to do something with all that excess ice.

Most mountain ranges are thrown up by the collision of tectonic plates. When they ram into each other, one goes under the other and forces it upward. The Himilaya mountains were formed when the continent of India ran into Asia Likewise the Rockies were formed when the Pacific plate ran into the North American continental plate.
