If you have the NoScript add-on some sites may get upset at not being able to run scripts and then come out garbled.

I sometimes get that here on WP, and a "Refresh/Reload" takes care of it.

That means the stylesheets and other external files for the web page haven't loaded properly, usually the result of a faulty connection. I get that problem all the time when I'm on my family's network (even though I use Chrome and Opera, not Firefox), so I use the neighbors' network.

Could be anything.

What happens when you use Internet Explorer?

want to know what I had for breakfast?

In other words, it doesn't matter. I don't use IE. I use FF.

Well, try it in IE or Chrome or something. That at least will tell us if there's something wrong with Firefox, or if the problem lies elsewhere.

Then something's wrong with Firefox. Try clearing the cache and reloading.

It's a perfectly cromulent word.

Did you try Orwell's first tip above. If so, then try to disable other add-ons that your Firefox may have installed.

I completely missed this one. That or I saw noscript and thought it was something I don't have or use but then I tried disabling adlock thinking it deals with scripts and turned it off for weather.com. Worked but now there are ads aplenty.

Hm... adblock plus has usually been very good about not messing up page loads for me. Which filter list do you use?
