Strange Problem with Monitor. Any Advice?

Hi everyone.

I feel a bit sheepish asking this, but could someone help me with my computer?

The picture on my monitor has shifted completely sideways. I don't know how I managed to do that. I do know however, that I was trying to press the ctrl and alt buttons at the same time. I'd like to be able to use my computer without breaking my neck, so any help would be much appreciated. :)

BTW, I'm not very good at computer-speak, so answers in plain English would be much appreciated.

On my computer, I can move the mouse button to an "blank" area of the screen, right click the mouse button, and bring up a menu item called "Graphic Properties"

I can then go into "Display Properties" and choose to enable or disable screen rotation. The exact procedure/words depends on your computer maker and operating system.

For a little fun, go there and "Rotate 180*" ... and then stay right there and flip your screen back upright. All the buttons will still be the same and will work just fine, but your mouse will seem completely backwards and be difficult to use while your view is upside-down.
