Hey.
I have a PSP Go.
I want to custom firmware it.
Would it be worth doing?
I want to do it so I can program games for it.
And try out community home-brew.
Thanks.

your only options for a go are either:

1. if your fw is 6.20, you can use tn hen, which is an enhanced hen with ps1 game compatability, plugin compatability, and great homebrew compatability
2. if your fw is 6.35, you can use 6.35 pro, which is a light custom firmware that has ps1 game compatability, psp iso compatablity, plugin compatability, although i hear the homebrew compatabilty isn't as good as tn hen
3. if your fw is 6.37, there is no hen or anything but you can play a variety of signed homebrew that work with no hacks needed

the hens can be found here

the signed homebrew can be found here

edit: oh i didn't know about the 6.10 exploit but that one is most likely outdated. tn hen and pro are better

and remember, no matter what anyone tells you, you cannot install a custom firmware on a psp go or you would most likely face a brick

well you can't install a perminant CFW but an enhanced hen and light custom firmware are good enough now. they just go away if you turn the psp off so you'd have to re-enable it every time you turn it off (you can put the psp in sleep mode and it'll work)

and if i'm not mistaking, if you suspend a game while the hen is enabled and you resume it when the hen isn't enabled, i think that turns on the hen too.
