Will my motherboard support Core 2 extreme QX6850

This is my motherboard:

It does not list extreme series on the website...
But it does list Core 2 Quad.

Do you think this would work or no?

I think it will. The only differences between the Core 2 and Core 2 Extreme processors are either clock speeds or an unlocked multiplier on the Extreme version.

For instance, any LGA1366 motherboard will support any LGA1366 CPU, extreme or not.
