Ok I give up, mac user on a PC

This is embarassing, how do you get the spell checker in the browser (using a a PC) to work? I've clicked spell check on but to no effect, when writng here.

I haven't used a PC before.

My Mac has died.

Help please.

Will try that, thanks! I downloaded a Check from Firefox and it said spellchecker "on", and then when it didn't work I wondered if there was some weird magic button pressing cermony known only to PC users that made it lfunction:)

Us Mac users were very left out of that big computer briefing in the sky, you know.

In Firefox, the spellchecker is enabled by default (in FF5, it is under Options -> Advanced -> "Check spelling as I type"). I'm not sure about Internet Explorer (even I won't use it), but Google Toolbar has some spell checking functionality for browsers that don't support it.
