Hey.
I have fitted the fan very tightly.
It didn't even move.
I have done all I can.
It was tight when it was at 98 degrease. (Had thermal paste on too)
What can I do to lower it down?
The fan is on properly and all the rubbishy plastic screws have been aligned right too.

It was working fine yesterday.
Have done absolutely nothing to it since then.

Please help!

Degrease and refit. If you fit the heatsink too tightly the compound will just squirt out of the sides.

You can buy thermal compound cleaner but its just limonene based industrial degreaser. Loctite do a great limonene based cleaner that's half the price.

as if you need to buy anything special to remove thermal grease  I just use orange power glue remover and a tissue.
