Introduction to Artificial Intelligence - http://www.ai-class.com/
Machine Learning - http://www.ml-class.com/
Introduction to Databases - http://www.db-class.com/

The database class looks a little basic, and could do with some mention of how databases interact with their users. I'd also like to see some talk of real world size examples and the hardware and software configurations they run on. Machine learning and AI look more like the level one expects from a university undergraduate course. Exams are to be taken on line and success earns you a certificate. Up to you whether you put it on your CV.

Who's in and which courses? :D

Ha ha wow. I worked in one of their back rooms videotaping engineering and math classes for online usage for a short three weeks and I had zero clue what I was doing or what I was taping. It looked interesting though. If only my brain could process things like even basic math and physics.

I decided to do Introduction to Databases. They have always intrigued me, and I would like to actually make some. It is great experience, and I can get a good paying job while being challenged.

The database one could be quite useful. I'm not a computer science major or anything but I am interested in web design so this could be useful. Would be interested in doing a programming course at some point too.

I'm taking them all. The database one looks a little bit basic, but you never know. I'm very much so looking forwards to the machine learning one and the introduction into artificial intelligence.

This looks like it could be a good use of my time while I am away from college. I will sign up for the machine learning and intro to AI course. I have taken AI before but it is always good to brush up on this sort of stuff. Thanks for the info oddone! :D

looks interesting 8)

I feel like facebooking this, but don't believe it will get a good response.

I prefer the Machine Learning lecturer over the Database one. hmmm...
Maybe he has more passion... and confidence.

The database course and machine learning course has started enrollment. It has a limited number of spots open so if you are interested in joining, I suggest joining quickly.

I expected to enroll on Databases but went for machine learning instead. The tutor seems much easier to listen to, the database tutor has a voice that irrates me (it keeps going up and down!) and databases seems to be something taught everywhere (and as part of other courses) whereas ML less so. Lets hope I can stick at it and not burnout or just lose interest!

EDIT: Forgot to say thanks to the OP for sharing!

The basic concepts of modern database systems are quite interesting.. philosophical even.

So too AI, which I'm guessing they're taking the neural network angle..

Reduce everything to numbers and see what happens :)

I'm going to try them all. I am probably going to have to drop to the basic level though.
