I will be going off to college in about 3 months, and I would likely be residing in an on-campus apartment (which is where older students, as well as traditional-aged juniors and seniors live when they live on campus).

So here's my question: Are home theater systems and large plasma TVs allowed in on-campus apartments? I was planning to buy those things.

I think it depends in the apartment rules for your university, but I don't see why not--as long as the volume isn't turned up too loud.
