I need some help with using tor. My internet connection blocks the tor network, and yet I know that using it is still possible. Do you have any tips? Like maybe the name of a bridge I can connect to?

is it your ISP or your Country blocking Tor

steps you can take:

1. Use an alternative DNS on your router for example:
DNS1: 208.67.222.222
DNS2: 208.67.220.220

that's openDNS's open alternative to your ISP's DNS.. if your router is a D-link, then it may also have a second alternative DNS set installed on the firmware

2. Use a proxy, seriously, there are millions of them, just google 'em

3. Check up on sites on how to break china-style censor firewalls... a measly ISP will never be able to withstand many of the tricks they use to break through China's censorship

TOR can break through pretty much everything with a bit of knowhow... but navigate the network with care, as there are many a scammer and kiddie pr0n rings there.
Also... start mining bitcoins if you have the GPU power for it... the main currency on TOR is the mighty BTC
