My son is in Honors pre-algebra (7th grade). Can anyone recommned a good review book that he can use to practice over summer vacation to prep him for Algebra One next year? If I leave him alone about it, he'll lose eveything he learned this year and will have a HORRIBLE time in Algebra One next year. The instructors don't give review packets. They don't believe in them.

I used the entire Saxon Math series books when home schooling my son. After I was finished with educating him, the college he entered invited him to join Phi Theta Kappa. He excelled in math and science.

When I was in public school, the teachers failed to teach me higher level math. The Saxon books caused me to excel in high level mathematics simply from doing Saxon's course work with my son.

I'm not familiar with other math books. I wouldn't switch to anything else due to being completely satisfied with the results the Saxon books consistently gave.
