I took a test and tested myself and I've concluded this-

I have really bad concentration difficulties;however I plan to fix that with meditation so that might help me solve problems quicker.

I make lots of silly mistakes all the time and I don't know how I'm meant to stop that? Any suggestions, practice won't work by the way because I would need to see the question before hand and do the procedure which you can't do because it's a test.

I also find word problems quite difficult, but I've found a way to represent problems visually so I can understand it.

So, how do I deal with the amount of silly mistakes I do? It prevents me from finishing the test because it takes me a long time to process the operation of numbers and I usually get them wrong anyway. Despite knowing the concept and what to do on the problem?

With Algebra, trig and geometry I don't make these type of silly mistakes ( I rarely do anyway.) Idk why though.

So, how do I stop making silly mistakes?

All I can think of is to come up with an order of operations for yourself. Kind of a checklist.

I know for me sometimes I'll miss a dumb detail like a negative sign.

I also have a hard time with tests because I do a LOT of rechecking. If I do a conversion I reverse it to see if I get what I started with. That consumes a lot of extra time.
