Hey!
I have the following specs of my HTPC:
AMD Phenom I x4 @ 2.8 Ghz
4GB DDR 2 ram
GTS 250 1GB
250GB 7200RPM HDD

When I acess the MythWeb and try to stream one of my recordings with VLC it takes ages to buffer. So I looked into the speed of it all and its only 84KbPS. Why is it doing this? My router is 54MBps g. I dont know why its so slow.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

set up a web server on the myth server, and throw a reasonably large file (100mb should do it) up in the web directory and try to download it from one of your client machines. Make sure myth isn't running on the server while you do this test. If that downloads appreciably faster, you have a myth/resource issue - if the download speed is roughly the same, you have a network/throughput issue.
