Hey!
I have setup a mini ITX pc to run Ubuntu Server 12.10 and it runs great. Im going to be using it as a game server along with many other uses. Just now I tried a Terraria server on it and I noticed it with unresponsive (I made sure I connected to it internaly).
When I go to ping google.co.uk theres about a 3-5 second delay between the pings. My MBP pings google instantly with no pause.
I have tried disabling IPV6 but still nothing. Any ideas?
Thanks! :)

it alittle bit faster then my netbook which is a 1.6Ghz. ok I may know the issue if you get what I am posting,

the Intel atom CPUs don't have the same processing power as there Pentium counterparts. The Atom technology was built for power conserving for like netbooks. I did some looking any it may need a 2.0Ghz or higher CPU. If that is right then the server can't keep up. For example a Minecraft server can't run on a Atom processor or a 1.6Ghz processor it requires more

Oh damn...
I was thinking about buying a HP Prolient 40l with the following:
4GB DDR2 Ram
1.3ghz AMD Neo dual core.
Im guessing this wont be enough then D:

I will say that is what I found but you can also look around and confirm what I said about that server software for Terraria because I don't have it so i am going off of what I was able to get the gist off of the web.
