Chromium on Linux not recognising "width:" for inp

Hey!
I am running on Ubuntu 12.04 with Chromium latest build.
I am currently working on a website which works great under chromium under Windows/OSX but not under Linux. On Chromium Linux the input text boxes cant be resized. Whats this about? It works just fine on any other browser.
