Hey!
Im just wondering if anyone could shed some light on this:
Yesterday I sadly ran out of mobile broadband credit. So I spent 15 pounds of my own money and topped it up with 3GB (Which IMO is a bit much for 3GB but whatever) of bandwidth. This was at about 8-9 at night so about I did some browsing on a gnome theme site and had a look at some themes for Ubuntu. Then I logged off for the night. I then checked my Macbook which was sharing my connection with the Ubuntu PC through eathernet and it said I used 160MB all together. Sounds about right with some of the images I downloaded to try as backgrounds. This morning I woke up turned on my laptop and checked my mobile broadband allowance. I then went onto my3(My mobile broadband ISP is 3) I clicked on check allowance and then it said I only had 592 mb left!?
Mobile broadband where I am wouldn't possibly be able to download 2GB in the 2 hours I was on mobile broadband. Its good but its not that good I promise!
How could have I managed to make 2.5 GB of my allowance disapeer?
I paid good money for this. I have contacted support.
Well atleast I should have a reply befo- Oh.... 5 working days for reply? Il be off holiday by then. -_-
"We'l do our best to reply within 24 hours." If they do I will eat my hat. (I'm being very cynical here aren't I? )
Did I donate £15 to Three last night? Sure looks like it!
Any ideas?
:(

Are you sure all computers using the connection were switched off? Otherwise a machine might not have disconnected properly, or reconnected automatically. I'd ask the support for an itemised billing that lists at what time which port consumed the traffic.

Everything was off. I have recently checked my allowance and its stuck at the same number even after saying the information was correct at: 11:51.
I think it might be a bug. Thank god for that!
