graphene sheets have been predicted to have very unusual properties when doped so it shouldnt relaly be a big surprise,
as for the yanks having to replicate it, not neccesary to be sure but any ad all replication should be encouraged.

graphene sheets can incidently be produced with normal scotch tape by anyone with a pencil and enough time, dopign them precisely might be quite another matter.

if it is true it really could revolutionize everything, virtually lossless power transfer and vastly reduced loss in most apliances as well.
