will updating my Nexus 7 void the warranty?

Would it void my warranty if I update my N7 with Jelly Bean 4.1?

Providing you can restore it to stock if any hardware problems arise, then it should be fine.

Why would they cover you for this sort of update? You'd be installing a code set not examined, approved or released by them.
Sure, they may do it eventually - but they haven't done it yet.

But as Colinn says, there are ways of having your cake and eating it... 8)
