I wanna get a HP Prolient n40l but I am concerned for the specs:
AMD Neo x2 @ 1.33 Ghz
4GB DDR3 Ram

I wanna use it for all these uses:
1. Hosting a Terraria server (for a few friends)
2. Web hosting server (So I can do web development and have all my files in one place. This wont be public)
3. TVHeadEnd server for watching recording (I record the max of 2 programs a day and probably wont be doing it by then because I will more then likely purchase a Tivo box)
4. SVN Server
5. Storage server
6. General Linux tasks (Doing all my Linux stuff over SSH which can be a number of things from compiling C++ code to holiday Linux access)
7. Download server (I dont download huge files very often but when I do I would probably be downloading things over night)

2-4 of those tasks will be simultaneous....

Do you think that spec would handle it?
Or do you think I would be better of building my own server?
My price limit is £250 so I cant afford much. The reason why I chose the n40l is because its small and quiet which are 2 reallly importent factors.
Any ideas? Thanks :D

The US List price for one of these is $350, so it would be within your budget. I assume that this is also the proce for a CPU loaded barebones system due to the fact that there is no mention of HDD size, though it supports up to 4 drives in SATA RAID. My real concern if I was to get one though, is the fact that the PSU is only rated at 150 watts.

Yeah. Dont think it should be an issue with the wattage. I agree that its not optimalt though.
So it should be able to handle the load then?

Shouldn't be a problem if it's a headless setup.
